Am very new user of PDQ Deploy & PDQ Inventory.
Currently we use Active Directory to deploy software, by AD group membership. A computer account is added to an AD group, and then when that machine next powers on it picks up its group membership, applies the Group Policy, and installs the software.
This allows us to get very junior members of the team to set up a PC by just having to add the computer account to a set list of AD groups. Meaning they have no access to the actual deployment settings, and cant mess it up.
I would like to offer them a similar solution, so that those junior people can still trigger an installation, but without giving them direct access to the PDQ products, so they don't mess that up.
How would I best perform this task in PDQ Deploy? We have PDQ Inventory as well if that helps.
