Just wondering- is it supported to create an additional table in the inventory database with external information? Specifically I'm trying to classify or categorize our applications and then generate reports from that category. By creating a different table- I could keep my application customization separate- and exportable. I figured that any future updates to the software might kill my table so I would make sure I could just export it- and re-import it after any updates.
Does this make sense or will I break things in inventory?
